- Do you offer free estimates?
- Yes — estimates on new heating and cooling systems are free, written, and include options at more than one price point. Our experts assess your space and recommend what fits, not what's biggest.
- What brands do you service?
- All major brands — Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Rheem, Goodman, Bryant, York, and more. For new installations we're a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, recognized with the Carrier President's Award.
- Are you available for emergencies?
- Yes — 24-hour service is available for true emergencies like no heat in freezing weather. Our office schedules regular appointments Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- What does NATE-certified mean?
- NATE (North American Technician Excellence) is the leading independent certification for HVAC technicians — passing means proving real diagnostic and installation knowledge on an exam, not just attending a seminar. Lofgren is proud to employ NATE-certified technicians.
- Is financing available?
- Yes — financing options are available on new system installations, subject to approved credit, including the Carrier credit card program. Ask about current terms when you schedule your free estimate.
- What are Maintenance Agreements?
- Our maintenance plans cover your seasonal tune-ups — furnace in fall, AC in spring — to prevent costly breakdowns, keep efficiency up, and extend equipment life. We schedule the visits, so nothing gets forgotten. Call for current pricing.
- How often should my furnace and AC be serviced?
- Once a year each: the furnace before heating season, the AC before cooling season. Most manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance to stay valid — skipping it can cost you coverage exactly when you need it.
- How do I decide between repairing and replacing?
- Rule of thumb: if the system is 15+ years old and the repair runs more than half the cost of replacement, replace. We always show both numbers — the repair quote and a free replacement estimate — so you decide with real figures.
- How long has Lofgren been in business?
- We've served Apple Valley and the south metro since 1997 — over 25 years of heating and cooling the same communities, from the same headquarters city.
